The best place to have a drink after work, for a birthday, for a celebration, after basketball, for the hockey game... whatever! Rob and the crew make this place so fun. Everything on the walls can make you laugh while you enjoy a nice pickle back and burger!

A great bar to go to for a birthday event the music was great. Felt like I was in high school (in suburbs circa 2003-2007)/college (2007-2011) again. The bartenders are super generous with their drink options so keep that in mind that one drink is probably equal to 2 to 3 drinks

Stopped in for a quick drink on a long walk and were blown away by the service, friendly folks and fun space! Highly recommend- they might even make you a special sign

The vibe is very lovely! It's a bit hard to hear people at the whiskey tavern, but the ambiance is lively and adorable

Spent 5 days in NYC and this place was the best place we visited. Reminds me of a hometown bar where you feel at home. Music and service is fantastic. I will make this a must see every time I visit NYC.

This is the definition of a good pub. The service is amazing, the food is also shockingly delicious- some of the best fried pickles you will EVER have and it's all packed in a fun, joyful atmosphere. This is such a random gem, but truly a great place to grab a drink. A chill drink- don't dust off your heels to come here, but that's exactly the vibe I was looking for. If you need a classic but lively tavern to add to your go-to list, I recommend this spot! 4.8/5

I don't know how to describe this place aesthetically. I feel like it's dive bar in size. But in terms of aesthetic it's so cute they decorate it to different events. I've done come here with a few friends and it has quickly become my go-to bar in the area because it is affordable and good drinks/food. I've had positive experiences in all except one but even that one is still an overall positive experience. But even in that one the overall experience was still good. My one meh experience was that double charged for an item that I asked for replacement of after another customer insisted my order was theirs and then eventually realized it was not so then it was handed to the waiter who handed it back to me. At that point they had been picking at it and had it for 5-10 minutes so I decided to request to have it replaced. After I paid and left I noticed after I got double charged for it. It was a HH food item so it wasn't a make or break deal so I never tried to remedy it but it was definitely a slight bummer.

I walked in here on a Thursday afternoon for a quick shot. I was in the area and was in the mood for a pickle back. I found myself at Whiskey Tavern accidentally. I walked in and I was immediately greeted by Colin their bartender. He was super friendly and served me quick. I sat next to the Happy Thursday Gary sign coincidentally and got to meet Gary as he's a regular at the bar. I did my pickle back shot and hung around because the bar was so welcoming & the people around me were fun to talk to. would definitely recommend this place for a fun time!

I'm a HUGE fan of Whiskey Tavern - it's a really fun spot where you feel welcome, whether it's your first time there or 50th. They make fun signs to hang at your table customized to who is in your party, which is a really fun touch, and it always seems like they're celebrating something. The most recent time I came they had these koozies since they've been open 14 years. My favorite drink here is the Cinnamon Toast shot - it's so tasty.
